We are proud to offer a range of scholarships designed to support students in their performing arts journey at OPRFHS.

Our Commitment to Equal Access
We believe that financial barriers should never hinder a student's pursuit of the arts. To promote equal access to performing arts education at OPRFHS, we provide scholarships that alleviate the costs of essential performing arts expenses. These scholarships cover a wide array of needs, including:

Need-Based Scholarships
Our Need-Based Scholarships are available to any student enrolled in a performing arts curricular class. These scholarships are designed to cater to students who demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Eligibility Requirements outlined in the APPLAUSE! Scholarship Policy.

ELIGIBILITY.
To be eligible for these scholarships, recipients must meet one of the following criteria:

Be enrolled in a performing arts program at OPRFHS and have applied for, and been granted, free or reduced lunch status as provided by OPRFHS in the summer packet.

Have an extraordinary family circumstance at the time of application. While we consider all applicants, preference will be given to students with demonstrated financial need.
GUIDELINES.
Here are the key guidelines for our scholarship program:

All performing arts students at OPRFHS are eligible to apply for these scholarships.

The scholarship amount is determined at the discretion of Applause and is contingent upon the availability of funds.

If requested, Applause is available to assist the family in developing a customized funding plan. This plan may include a family contribution, an Applause scholarship, student fundraising through Applause-sponsored fundraisers, and/or a work-study option approved by Applause and one of the performing arts teachers (when available).

Scholarship application forms will be readily accessible on the Applause website, through any OPRFHS performing arts teacher, or from an Applause officer.
